UED brought the international education sector together in Ankara as it celebrated its 25th anniversary. Held at JW Marriott Hotel Ankara on 8–10 October 2026, UED Summit 2026 provided a forum for sharing knowledge, building connections and strengthening cooperation.
A meeting point for international education
The summit connected UED member education agencies with international education institutions. Panel sessions explored topics on the sector’s agenda, giving participants opportunities to exchange perspectives and learn from one another’s experience.
Meetings and social gatherings throughout the summit helped participants strengthen existing relationships and explore new partnerships. The event highlighted Türkiye’s role in international education and the value of continued dialogue among sector stakeholders.
Celebrating 25 years of UED
Marking UED’s 25th anniversary, the programme also featured a gala and awards ceremony. Bringing together colleagues and partners from across the sector, the occasion offered a setting to celebrate shared achievements and build lasting connections.
We thank our members, international education partners, speakers and all those who contributed to UED Summit 2026. UED will continue to bring the sector together through its commitment to trust, quality and cooperation in international education.
Three days of panels, B2B meetings and cultural connections
Following the opening on 8 October, sessions explored responsibility in international education, the relationship between people and technology, the role of qualified agents in guiding students’ futures, and the value of working together in crisis management. The programme also included a session on AP for careers and majors.
On 9 October, UED President Canan Severoğlu presented an update on the Turkish market, followed by pre-scheduled B2B meetings. The evening’s gala dinner and awards ceremony brought sector colleagues and partners together to celebrate UED’s 25th anniversary.
The Ankara Cultural & Heritage Tour programme for 10 October featured Anıtkabir, the Presidential National Library of Türkiye, Ankara Castle and the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations.
